All we had was the golden ruler that tops out at 24”, and it was well over that. Had it still been full of eggs, it would have pushed 20lbs! We lost the tape measurer before we caught the second one. The first fish went 37” and I guessed it around 16lbs. I say, potentially only because we didn’t take the fish in to be certified. From the first cast, down to the last cast, it was STELLAR! Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, monster Sand Bass, Striper, Hybrid Striper, Rainbow Trout, Sauger, and WALLEYE! Two of the Wal leye Stephan and I caught were potentially Oklahoma State Record Walleye.

After a pretty awesome trip last weekend, we made the trip back up to Broken Bow. Natalie had never been before, so after a quick tour around the park, we made our way down to the river.
